Alexis is a media and communications professional with a passion for the performing arts, all magical things Disney, and a set intention of connecting Latinx communities with available resources that provide education, expansion, and entertainment.

As a graduate from the Jack J. Valenti School of Communication at the University of Houston with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a focus in Interdisciplinary Arts, he has worked as an Account Executive for the national JPMorgan Chase account in Houston; a Fact-Checker/ Freelancer for Houstonia magazine; a Marketing Assistant for Telemundo Houston; amongst other professional roles including working for the largest entertainment company in the world, The Walt Disney Co.

With the mission to continue representing and connecting brands with Houston’s Hispanic and LGBTQIA+ communities, The Latinx Publicist opened his collectibles-filled home office in 2021 to do just that; and has now been awarded Best Business Plan by Camara de Empresarios Latinos de Houston; a Congressional Recognition by United States Representative, Sylvia Garcia; an admission into the highly-competitive program at the Emerging Leaders Institution, Greater Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and is currently pursuing a Master in Integrated Studies degree from Rice University – which as of 2024 is recognized among ‘New Ivies’ by Forbes.

As a local representative for the national brand, The Latinx Publicist continues to nurture established community and media relationships while executing brand/product focused collaborative partnerships.
